Delmer Darion are a West Midlands-born and London-based duo comprised of Tom Lenton and Oliver Jack. They took their name from the deep sea diver in Paul Thomas Anderson’s cult film Magnolia. We introduced them with the track “Wildering”; now they have announced the release of the debut album called Morning Pageants which will be out on October 16th via Practise Music.
According to the press release, it is a a sprawling, industrial ten-track account of the death of the devil, inspired by a line in the Wallace Stevens poem ‘Esthétique du Mal’: “The death of Satan was a tragedy for the imagination.”
