One year Everywhere We Looked Was Burning, Tunisian-born/New York-based experimental singer-songwriter Emel Mathlouthi has announced a new double EP with the moniker Emel. The Tunis Diaries is out on October 9th via Partisan Records. It features a collection of newly recorded reworks from Emel’s catalog (‘Day’), paired with an eclectic selection of covers (‘Night’).
She has shared two new tracks: the original song “Holm” and the cover of cover of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold The World“. Listen below.
