Rey Pila are an Mexico City-based band comprised of Diego Solórzano, Andrés Velasco, Rodrigo Blanco and Miguel Hernández. Their music is a blend of dark synth pop and gloomy dance rock and it is inspired by acts as  The Cars, Depeche Mode, Aphex Twin, and Boards of Canada. They announced the release of a new album.

Velox Veritas is out on August 21st via Arts & Crafts. It was produced by Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs). “Drooling” is the first excerpt. The animation video was directed by Daniel Farah and animated by Salvador Herrera and Daniel Farah. Watch it below.
