Shivum Sharma is a South London singer-songwriter and producer. We introduced him with the track “Diamond”; now he’s back with a new track called “Ride” which is part of the new EP. Diamond will be out on August 18th via AWAL. He explains:  “‘Ride‘ is an ode to how the sun makes me feel. It was born on a grey day in Alex Burey’s studio, a room that let’s no natural light in, giving us the freedom to ignore outside’s climate and determine it for ourselves.”

Featuring the vocals of artist Sarah Meth and mixed by Ben Baptie (Moses Sumney, Rex Orange County), it’s another track that demonstrates Shivum’s complexity as an artist, capturing the beauty of vulnerability: “it’s about not feeling enough, but fronting and giving it all you’ve got anyway. Living in the shadow of another’s glow but enjoying the ride enough to stay exactly where you are anyway, soaking up all that it brings.”
