Drexler is the project of the Australian, London-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Adrian Leung. Last year he released the first EP titled The Confluence and now he announced the release of the first full-length. Handles will be out via Rhodium. It is a record that musically dialogues on the recurring theme of how light is able to emerge, survive, and even thrive in darkness.

We introduced him with the track “Blossoms” which he explains with his own words: “This track bubbles and simmers, slowly and gently building towards this ending that feels positive but tainted by the falling soundscapes that surround the piano and strings.

Today we have the pleasure to premiere the official video directed by filmmakers Jonathan Caicedo-Glaindo and Sebastian Olmos. It follows a woman trapped and suppressed by her surroundings. She imagines herself being free from her current reality and transported into her own haven. These two juxtaposed worlds, represented by the tension between the urban and natural environments, intercut each other as she explores and expresses her inner freedom.
