Alan Finan is a rising Irish, London-based singer-songwriter and musician. His music is inspired by Irish folk music and by acts as Nick Mulvey, Ben Howard and Bon Iver. Two years after the debut EP, he’s back with a new track titled “The Drive” which shows his melancholic and warm vocals and the dynamic melodies.

It is inspired by a visit to a town in rural Ireland deeply affected by a car accident that had changed the lives of families throughout the town. He explains: “The Drive’ reflects tragedy in community , how one accident remains the burden of so many, how we move ourselves knowingly towards ruin when morality is there, opposite. Inspiration came in light of a visit to a town in rural Ireland affected by a car accident that changed the lives of so many families.”
