Fruity Water is a synth-guitar duo from Brighton and it is comprised of Smalan Odgers and Adam Bell. Two years after their debut album, they’re back with a new track titled “Telephone Song” which shows the infectious rhythms, the dynamic electronic lines and the psychedelic vibes of the sound.

It is the first excerpt from the upcoming EP Telephone Song which will be out on May 7th via Big Salad Records. The theme of the communication is right at the heart of the lyrical and conceptual theme of the track, as Adam explains, “Telephone Song is about communicating on the telephone, which seems a bit old fashioned after the jump to everyone communicating using video chat over the last couple of weeks since the lockdown, as well as the slower trend of people moving towards email and instant messaging apps over the last few years”.
