Ego Ella May is a South London songwriter and vocalist. Her music is an interesting mix of neo-soul, r’n’b and jazz lines. We introduced her with the single “Girls Don’t Always Sing About Boys”; now she’s back with a new enchanting track titled “How Long ‘Til We’re Home“. She explains “The song is about feeling lost about your place in the world, it’s about longing for somewhere that FEELS like home… I wondered where is home anyway? Too African for Britain, too British for Africa”.

She  will exclusively perform tracks from her debut album Honey For Wounds live in London at The Courtyard Theatre on 20th May, tickets are available here.
