Chassol is a French composer and producer, also known for his collaborations with Frank Ocean (to write on ‘Blonde’, following a tip off from Diplo) and Solange (for who he produced several tracks on ‘When I Get Home’, after she Shazam-ed his music at an installation).

He recently released a new solo full-length. Ludi is out now via Bertrand Bergalat’s cult Tricatel. According to the press release, it is an ambitious, experimental project spanning a double album, a feature film and live show, the record was created using Chassol’s own ‘ultrascore’ approach, in which (inspired by Steve Reich) vocal and ambient sounds from video footage are harmonised in perfect sync to create a living, breathing soundtrack.
