Minais B is the project of Copenhagen based composer and producer Villads Klint who is also a part of the avant-pop trio KhalilH2OP (NikkiH2OP, Yen Towers) and collaborator with Copenhagen artists Astrid Sonne and Xenia Xamanek. Three years after Deep Care, he announced the release of the second full-length. Quiet Bloom is out on April 24th via Anyines.

According to the press release, it describes the return to life after losing a loved one. As a treatment for his grief, Klint explores the solemnness of spiritual music, rituals and ceremonial togetherness. This has resulted in an album that draws heavily on the musical tradition of Danish hymns, combined with electronics, synthesizers and organ music. For the first time we see his face on the vinyl cover verso; peaceful and with his eyes closed towards an inner sanctuary. “I used weaving as a musical metaphor while composing, juxtaposing computer music and the more organic sounds of the church organ, but weaving it together as whole, to try and convey the different colours of sorrow” Klint explains.

Where We Meet” is the first excerpt. Watch the official video below.
