The Murder Capital are the Irish band comprised of James McGovern, Damien Tuit, Cathal Roper, Gabriel Paschal Blake and Diarmuid Brennan. Their sound has rough and powerful rhythms, with post-punk and punk connections. Back in 2019, they released the debut album When I Have Fears, out via Human Season Records.
They shared a new live video for the track “For Everything” which was recorded at Tapetown Studio on Lydhavnen in Aarhus, Denmark. Watch it below.
Tapetown is a fully-functional recording studio that focuses specifically on alternative music – beating the drum for the authentic, weird, heavy and/or analogue groups often on the fringe of the scene. The “live in studio” sessions are meant to showcase the artists, warts n’ all in exactly the way nature intended – no overdubs or magic tricks. Captain behind the controls though, Rasmus Bredvig oversees the expert capture of the moment with professional multi-track, real-time recording and mixing after the sessions are done and dusted. The tracks are simultaneously filmed multi-angle and expertly edited together with properly mastered audio.
