Tim Barr is a New York-based musician and singer-songwriter, better known for the work with the band Silverbird and for playing bass for Lana Del Rey during the Lizzy Grant era and fronting the late 2000s band Recluse. Now he announced the release of his first solo album. Sign Of The Good Times is out on January 31st, 2020 as self-production. “Multiply” is the first excerpt.
He explains: “Multiply’ is about a time when I was walking home from work and I got sucker punched in the back of the head by a drunk guy. He hit me very hard and as I was going to the ground it was like in the cartoons where it looked as if there were about five of him. I was able to regain my composure and tackle him and we had a fight in the street. A couple of people broke it up and we went on our way, I went home with a black eye and wrote the song.”
