Sorcha Richardson is an interesting Dublin born singer-songwriter and musician. She jsut released her first full-length. First Prize Bravery is out now via Faction Records. It is a collection of stories written during a transitional time between living in New York and moving back to Dublin. Richardson says this of the album as a whole:

“Most of the songs on this album were written in the year before and after I left New York. It’s a collection of stories about the people who came in and out of my life during that time, when everything felt like it was about to change pretty drastically. I think subconsciously I was trying to capture the moments that felt important; my way of writing them down so I wouldn’t forget them. So I guess this is an album about beginnings and endings, about friendship and confusing relationships, and the quiet, intimate moments I shared with those people amidst all of the chaos.”
