A few months after At Home EP, Cincinnati-based pianist and composer Tristan Eckerson released a new album. Torzo Revisited is out now as self-release. “Trozo” was originally released as Tristan’s debut full length album by Swedish Label 1631 Recordings (Nils Frahm, Dustin O’Halloran, Hauschka) in the summer of 2016.

He decided to re-release the album independently on Oct 18th, 2019, and has also completely re-recorded, re-mixed, and re-mastered the entire album, hence the name “Trozo Revisited”. Today he shared a new video for the track “Trust“. It was directed by Caio Nogueira.

His words about it:” “Trust” is a minimalist, modal composition from my new album “Trozo Revisited”, inspired by the simplicity and beauty of composers like Erik Satie and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Filmmaker Caio Nogueira and Dancer Emily Naitê exemplify the simplicity and emotion of the composition with their striking cinematography and beautiful dance performance.”
