SHIIVERS are a London-based electro-pop outfit. They’ve just released their bold and vibrant new offering “Crook And Flail,” which their team has compared to the likes Portishead and CHVRCHES. Speaking about their new release, the band added, “‘Crook and flail’ is a symbol used across ancient Egypt. I was thinking a lot about how the wonders of the Ancient World had been established by slavery and exploitation; great feats of engineering erected by an army of faceless people who would never be recognized. I wondered how they might have revolted, looking at the modern world around us, in these unsettled times.”  This became a mantra for the band and the track was born. Listen below.
