Carl Oesterhelt is a German Munich based composer and musician, better known for his work with F.S.K., Merricks and German legends The Notwist. He released a new album titled Eleven Pieces for Synthesizer which is out via Umor Rex. According to the press release, he has been recording a mixture of straddling kosmische and classical traditions for years on his own reel tape machine, overdubbing stacks of analogue gear to create a compelling body of work that brings fresh emotional depth and rhythmic experimentation to the syntax of the modern synthesizer.
