Sparks Festival gave us a total experience of art. Starting from the location. Parco Grotte in Putignano (Italy) is a wonderful open space which feeds the cohesion between territory, good food and drinks, social gathering, art installations and experimental music. Three days with great artists as Moses Boyd, Jameszoo, Beatrice Dillon, TOXE. And Ivreatronic, Jolly Mare which closed the festival on Sunday

One of the significant moments was the DJ set of Dutch producer and musician Mitchel van Dinther aka Jameszoo. An amazing set which excited everyone with tracks which touched different styles from funky vibes to bass music to modern electronic sound. People have totally lost the cognition of time and space. And that is a good thing for a music festival.

Another cool, but different, moment was the live set from British artist Beatrice Dillon (inside the night dedicated to Berlin based experimental label PAN with also two awesome DJ Sets from Swedish producer Tove Agelli aka TOXE and  Milan artist and musician Simone Trabucchi aka STILL). She gave us a free ticket for a mind trip, with her way to interpret the concept of rhythms and the visual part which made all so real and  experiential.

Honorable mention for British musician and composer Moses Boyd which has worked and collaborated with the likes of Lonnie Liston Smith, Ed Motta, Little Simz, Four Tet, Floating Points, Sampha, Zara McFarlane, Gilles Peterson, and many more. A unique set which showed us the hypotic power of drums. The best moment of the festival.

We can’t wait to be there again in 2020. See you there.
