Mysie is a talented London-based singer-songwriter which has Ugandan roots (she’s granddaughter of a renowned Ugandan jazz musician). Following the recent debut single, she announced the release of her first EP. Chapter 11 is out now. She shared a new video for the track “Fall Away” which shows her warm and powerful vocals and the tense vibes of the sound.
“Fall Away is about growing apart from a toxic relationship. It’s about choice” explains Mysie. “Whether you choose to keep yourself in a toxic relationship, knowing subconsciously they were never good”. And about the video co-directed with Dorothy Kay: “Dottie came with such a beautiful, personal story to tell. She presented the story in a different light and made this universal. We have all been the children at that table at some point or another whether it be our own family or someone we love”.
