Flikka is a Swedish Stockholm-based singer-songwriter and musician. We introduced her with debut single “Someone To Lose”; now sh’es back with her second track titled “Radar” which is out now via London independent label Blue Flowers (Westerman, Nilüfer Yanya and more). It was produced by Leon Michels (El Michels Affair) and recorded at Diamond Mine in Long Island City, New York and Rhinebeck, Upstate New York with Nick and Homer from Sharon Jones’ band, the Dap-Kings.
Explaining the meaning behind the new track Flikka said, “‘Radar’ is really about reality escape, destructivity and how to find your inner compass – your radar when shit is bad.” It’s a track that resonates with the themes of destructiveness, trying to kick bad habits and the pursuit of positivity.
