James Nathan Jones is a Laurel-based pianist and composer that we introduced different times. One year after Sanctuary Sessions, he released a new full-length. Static Deviations is out now. It features Olivia Dunn (vocals) and Alvaro Miranda Gamarra (cello).

The album focuses on the blending of organic elements (piano, cello, and the human voice) with electronics and manipulated tape loops. Every track features a Tascam Portastudio in some capacity, and controlled tape noise is often used as another instrument. Full streaming is available below.
