Malinhini are an Italian duo that include Giampaolo Speziale and Federica Caiozzo; they met in early 2015 in Rome and, in what Federica describes as a “moment of surrender”, decided to start making music together on a road trip through Austria, Germany and Poland. The duo gathered thirty improvised musical ideas and spent eight days recording with their friend and drummer Alberto Paone in a Roman studio.

We introduced them with tracks “Waiting” and  “Miss”; one year after debut ep. Lose Everything, they announced the release of the first full-length. Hopefully, Again is out on March 8th via Memphis Industries. It was produced by Richard Formby (Wild Beasts, Ghostpoet, Darkstar) and was written in Sicily and recorded at the remote Giant Wafer Studios in Wales. We already shared title-track; “Delusional Boy” is a new excerpt. Listen below.
