Four years after So Much To Remember, So Much To Forget, British Brighton-based composer Anthony Saggers aka Stray Ghost returned with a new album. A Shade Under Thirty is out now. His words about it: “I started work on this album all the way back in 2015, and can think of no better way of celebrating ten years of releasing music under the name Stray Ghost than the release of what is, to my mind, undoubtedly my best work.
This is the music of which I am the proudest and this is the album which I feel has the best chance of standing the test of time. This is my gift to a world wrapped up in dreams and surrounded by trauma. This is sad music for a fractured society. If anything stands as a testament to my time on this earth, let it be this.”
