Brian Case is a Chicago-based guitarist and composer known for his work with the band Disappears. We introduced him with 2016’s debut full-length. One year after his sophomore Spirit Design, he announced a new album. Plays Paradise Artificial is out on June 22nd via Hands In The Dark. Compositions focus on two simple, minimal elements: just vocals and synths. Pre-order is available here.
We have the pleasure to premiere a new excerpt titled “Too Old To Die Young” which shows a thundering sound with minimal lines, unpreditctable rhythms changes and fragmented noisy lines that embrace his cold and alienated vocals. Listen below.
