The Slow Readers Club are a Manchester-based four piece band. Their music combines melodic elements, dark mood and rough lines. “Lunatic” is a new track that is out now.Watch the official video filmed in the crumbling confines of the abandoned London Road Fire Station in the heart of Manchester City Centre: it was directed by longtime visual collaborator Chris Croft.
Speaking about the track, frontman Aaron Starkie says:  “Its about feeling at odds with the world, especially politically in recent times, to the point where you feel as though you are losing your mind. There’s also reference to how psychiatry has been used to remove political dissidents from society: “Hard to find a fit, for I know that Im a lunatic, Sure in days of old, i’d be chained to the floor”’.
