This last year has been extremely fruitful, musically speaking. On one side, loads of artists we missed for too much time have finally got back on stage. On the other hand, smaller, less-known musicians managed to reach their complete maturity, releasing works of undeniable beauty. Bon Iver, Radiohead and others, all managed to reinvent themselves, wisely avoiding the risk of became a mere reflection of their former glory. The general quality of music production has increased, and there has been a clear tendency to mix genres avoiding classical schemes and showing that originality is not dead yet.
