My AweSOMe Preview is back. This year we have the pleasure to share 55 previews from september, october, november releases. Artwork by Gigi Scorcia. This is the Volume 1; it includes Tomaga, Petrolio, Ed Carlsen, Silent Carnival, Swoon Lake, Todd Tobias, Wayfarer//, Ocean Hope, Porya Hatami & Arovane. 


1. Tomaga – A Perspective With No End. Tomaga is the London-based duo that involves Valentina Magaletti and Tom Relleen.  The Shape of the Dance is the new album that will be out on September 19 via Hands in the Dark.

2. Petrolio – Eating Lights Slowly. Petrolio is the solo project of  Enrico Cerrato (Infection Code and Gabbia Inferno).  “Eating Light Slowly” is the first great excerpt from debut album that will be out via Dreamingorilla Rec, È un brutto posto dove vivere and other lables to be announced.

3. Ed Carlsen – Rain. Ed Carlsen is  a London-based composer and musician. The Journey Tapes is the debut album that will be out on September 13th via Moderna Records; It is available on limited edition CD.

4. Silent Carnival – Sick. Two years ago we introduced Silent Carnival, the solo project of Marco Giambrone (Marlowe), and his great debut self-titled album. New full- length will be out on Ocotber 7th via Viceversa Records. “Sick” is the first excerpt.

5. Swoon Lake – NarcolepsySwoon Lake is a New York-based three-piece “ghost folk” band from Brooklyn who met on dating sites in early 2016. The project involves singer-songwriter, and keyboardist Melodie Stancato, with support from the textural, conversational guitar and vocal interplay of Lucinda Hearn and Paul Weintrob. Like Being In A Mouth is the debut Ep that will be out on Spetember 6.

6. Todd Tobias – Pollen Path. One year later Tristes Tropiques, Akron-based recording engineer, producer and musician Todd Tobias returns with a new album. New album Gila Man will be out via Hidden Shoal and Tiny Room Records. “Pollen Path” is the first excerpt. The album will see daylight on the 18th of October.

7. Wayfarer// – And Then I. Wayfarer// is a product of the burgeoning production and beats scene from Melbourne. It is part of the family of Lekker Collective. We’re glad to share the new track “And Then I”.

8. Ocean Hope – The Boy (dznt remix). We already introduced Ocean Hope, Greek brother-sister duo Angeliki and Serafim Tsotsoni. Chamber Dreams: Remixes, Vol. 2 will be out this fall via Hush Hush Records. We’re glad to share the dznt’s remix of “The Boy”.

9. Porya Hatami & Arovane – Iaan (bonus track). Iran-based musician and composer Porya Hatami and German artist Arovane (Uwe Zahn) released a new collaborative album, one year later Resonance. It is out now via Time Release Sound.
