Manchester-based duo Shield Patterns (Claire Brentnall e Richard Knox) have announced details of their second album Mirror Breathing, set for release on September 2nd via Gizeh Records. The record also features cellist Julia Kent. It follows 2015’s Violet EP. Claire had this to say about Mirror Breathing: “The album for me is about feeling connected; exploring what it means to be a friend, to be in love, to be an individual, to be part of a collective unconscious. It’s about the beauty of imperfection, of making mistakes, and the discoveries that are made by chance as we learn to exist.” Dusk” is the first excerpt. Listen below.
